Motorola CEOs reduce their wage
Meanwhile maybe forget that new Android Motorola is fighting yet to be restored in the mobile market as the giant it once was and even if you are having some success with phones and the Motorola Milestone and several others, we remain in times of crisis in the company and there is nothing to show for more than the CEOs themselves voluntarily cut their salaries.
The co-CEO of Motorola and Greg Brown Sanjay Jha agreed to reduce their salaries in 2010 to 25% on a voluntary and this move has to do with the wage cuts and layoffs that have been doing since 2009.
With this reduction, both executives would be earning 900 thousand U.S. dollars annually instead of the 1.2 million they earned from 2008 so do not worry you will not miss any luxury especially Jha which was declared one of the best paid executives in the United States during 2008 thanks to more than 100 billion won of shares based on performance (before Motorola was at Qualcomm).
Recall that in 2011 Motorola will split into 2 companies, One led by Greg Brown who will take care of business networks and corporate mobile solutions and the other with Sanjay Jha in the business of mobile phones and home entertainment.
