Maemo 5 OS， Nokia N900 officially on sale
According to Reuters report, Nokia’s CEO – Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, in this week announced Nokia N900 Maemo 5 OS the first official sale shipping.
Nokia N900 is the first equipped with Maemo 5 OS smart terminal, using sliding full QWERTY keyboard design, with speeds up to 600MHz processor, body size is 110.9 × 59.8 × 18 mm, with a 3.5-inch WVGA (800 × 480) resolution touch screen, built-in 5 million pixel Carl Zeiss camera authentication, with 32G memory space.
Functions, Nokia N900 has a decent network of functional performance, HSDPA downlink speeds of up to 10 \ 2.0Mbps, support for Web browsers support the Flash 9.4 player. In addition, Nokia N900 supports Bluetooth 2.1 wireless transmission, support IM, and SMS social networking client-side functions. Supports GSM / EDGE / WCDMA networks, support WiFi wireless LAN, support GPS positioning and other functions.
Nokia N900 will be the first to visit Russia, United States, Europe, Middle East and other countries and regions, is expected to retail for around 500 U.S. dollars.Along with the formal listing of Nokia N900, Nokia X6 will be available for sale later, Nokia also introduced two smart systems Maemo and Symbian terminals.
